Do you want to look great, but just can't seem to get there?

  • Font size: Larger Smaller

I know you, I have been you, heck I am you.

You work out like crazy, and check your progress in the mirror daily, but never get where you want?

I bet you even throw in an extra workout here or there, but it never seems to make a difference on your waistline.

I bet you believe you are "unique' and that your body must work differently than others. Nothing seems to work.

You look at the thin, lean people, with magazine type bodies and figure they have better genes.

Is that you?

I promise, you aren't different. The reason you aren't having success is because of the food you eat.

Don't kid yourself, you think you are eating right, but are you really? Changing your diet goes further than just changing what you eat, it also means changing how much you eat.

The term "healthy" is not a license to overeat.

You may be eating too much.

I know the "Diet" word is scary.

Don't let it scare you.

A change to your diet doesn't mean you have to starve yourself. It doesn't mean you have to give up the foods you love. It means that you will have to make smarter choices, and limit how often you eat those foods you love, like ice cream, or pizza.

To lose weight and inches, you simply need to burn off more than you eat each day.

I'd bet that your problem is that your falling off the wagon more than you'd like.

Nothing will derail your progress quicker than daily cheating.

Do you catch yourself eating fast food, or visiting the vending machine more than you should? Do you find yourself migrating to the refrigerator in between meals?

If so, you need to stop.

If you lack the willpower, maybe it's time to make a change.

I drink a meal replacement shake every day. It is lower in calories that what I'd take get with fast food, and the ingredients are way more healthy.

It tastes fantastic, and I feel like I am getting away with something.

Even though I train others, I am sometimes to busy to eat properly and was making bad choices. Drinking a shake each day has made a huge impact on my waistline.

A shake in a thermos, will last most of the day and gives me the nutrition I need. It keeps me from cheating when I don't want to.

When I find that I can't make one of my banana chocolate shakes

If I find myself out and about, and don't have access to real food, I grab an Advocare meal replacement shake. This is a link to where you can purchase Advocare products.

*Beware of buying any Advocare products on sites like Ebay, or Amazon. The only way to purchase authentic Advocare products is through the official Advocare website, or through your personal Advocare Distributor. You never know what you are getting elsewhere.

Are you wanting to jump start your diet?

Many people who want to get on track now, choose to do the Advocare 24 Day Challenge.

Simple put, it gives you the tools to get your diet in order for lifelong change.

You can read about it here.

Do you need a boost for your workouts? Maybe a little energy and want a healthier alternative to energy drinks?

Here are two great products from Advocare.

Spark and Slam. Spark is a powder mix you mix with water, and the Slam is a liquid. I love the Spark, and Mayra loves the Slam.

Both give you a good boost of energy. I love the Spark before I workout.

Advocare products are tested; they've been around for a long time, and are a trusted source for exercise supplements.

You don't have to take my word for it though, here is a link to a page with unpaid sports athletes who use their products.

If you want to save a little money, you can sign up as a distributor and get 20% off all your future orders. Consider it like a yearly Costco membership, I do. I know I'm going to purchase, so why not get it at a discount.

Heck, if you fall in love with their products, you may even consider selling them yourself.

Whatever you do, make a change to how much you take in.

Without changing your diet, you won't get where you want to be, ever.

I'd love to hear from you. Please ask questions, or make comments below.

What that means is that if you click on the link and later purchase a product from the site I could get paid. You can read a more in depth disclosure here if need be. So why would I tell you this? Well first it’s the law, second it’s the right thing to do and third I ain’t got nothing to hide.
