Every year we get ready for the Reebok CrossFit games Open, and every year we go through a sort of ritual leading up to the first announcement. Shortly after the first WOD, the reality that we may not be headed to Carson sets in and emotions for many begin to takeover. So you have some concerns about joining a CrossFit Affiliate. You’re either worried about the cost, or you’re worried about getting hurt, or both. These are both valid and understandable concerns. I bet you’ve already spent a small fortune on this fad diet, or that new exercise gizmo, and are a little apprehensive about spending even more money to get the same results as before (none).  Plus you figure, why spend more than it costs to join a local gym right?

Or you’ve read about CrossFit, seen the results of people you know, but are worried about getting hurt. Heck, the thought of doing some of the stuff you see online is scary, I know. But if done correctly the exercises are very beneficial and the risk is minimal compared to the rewards.
