This past Thanksgiving week in pictures.

  • Font size: Larger Smaller

Sometimes you just have to put stuff in perspective. This past week had it's highs and lows. At times it seemed more of the latter, but in the end what can you do.

Since this past week was a holiday, and I didn't have time to write a full post, instead I thought I'd share my week in photos (Just the highlights).

We live in a very rural area and have lots of wildlife around our home. After returning from Los Angeles My wife noticed one of our dogs was pulling around a long rope later identified as intestines. Needles to say, this racoon must have wandered into the wrong yard.

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents in Bakersfield. If there was going to be a day
I would cheat this was it!

The following Saturday we were going to have Mayra's family up for a round two of
Thanksgiving. They couldn't make it, but that turned out to be a blessing because I got
Sick, very very sick. From 7pm to 1am I prayed to this very toilet.

After hours of throwing up I made a visit to the local hospital (not this one, it's a stock photo, sorry but I was way to out of it to take photos). Anyway I spent the night getting pumped full of drugs, returned home and recuperated for a day and a half.

Today I spent the day in a dealership waiting room for my car to be serviced, only to find out that "Sorry Sir, we didn't know you were waiting and your car won't be ready for a few days" Luckily they supplied me with this top of the line yellow beast. Nothing screams bad ass like a Festiva.

Then the sky's parted and my wonderful custom creations arrived. Mayra had purchased a stock pair of Nano's from Reebok but they were luckily the wrong size. When I found out I could custom design my own I jumped at the chance, and returned the original shoes. With shipping and tax the custom shoes cost $164, but in my opinion they are well worth it. Now if they'd only improve my times.

See you in the hills.
